Scottish Fencing Central Section BYC Qualifier

As in previous years there have not been enough entrants to need to hold qualifying competitions if you wish to enter the BYC Finals this year please send an entry to

If we receive more than four entries for any competition then we will hold a qualifying event at a time and place convenient to the majority of the entrants before the 29th March 2011.

 Age groups

U12: Born 1999, 2000, 2001          U14: Born 1997 or 1998

U16: Born 1995 or 1996                 U18: Born 1993 or 1994

U10s please contact British Fencing directly

ENTRY FEE - £18.00 PER WEAPON EVENT (Central Section has to pay British Fencing for every entry so there can be no discount for entering more than one weapon)

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES 8th March 2011.

 Entries are only valid when accompanied by the appropriate entry fee - telephone or email entries WILL NOT be accepted. Cheques payable to Scottish Fencing Central Section. Fencers must be resident in Central Section or attend a Club in Central Section.

 

The first 4 fencers in a competition (without byes) in each event qualify for the British Youth Championship Finals to be held on the 30th April, 1st and 2nd May,  at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

 Could all entrants/parents/guardians please ensure they have read and understood these -  they are completely out-with the control of Central Section

Fencer who have a Bye MUST enter the qualifying round, but need not turn up and fence if a qualifying competition is held. All entrants MUST be a member of British Fencing
